Alpine Summers, or Alpine Winters?
Many people find the transition from British mountains to Alpine Mountaineering daunting.
I offer a variety of Alpine courses from beginners to intermediate, individuals who want private guiding to groupswho just need a few days to adapt to bigger hills.
Each season I arrange a High Level Route, one of the great classic routes linking the valleys of Chamonix and Zermatt. This memorable experience normally takes about 10 to 12 days.

With an increase in Summer temperatures, I have begun to explore the Alps in winter. Many of the classic routes are approachable on ski (you don't need to be a particularly good skier) and with modern thermal / fleece gear it is good to be able to take advantage of colder and more settled conditions. In addition there are some superb ice climbs which can give guaranteed ice in tremendous surroundings.
Then of course there is always the piste !!
